MSPCA Cape Cod

Deciding whether or not to introduce a new pet into your family is a big decision. For all of us pet lovers we understand the joy a pet can infuse into a household, worthy of all the hard work and dedication a pet owner invests into this new family member! As we are all aware unfortunately this situation doesn’t always work out, resulting in placement of the animal at a local pet shelter so they can hopefully find a new home.

Cape Cod Happening is honored to now be working with the MSPCA Cape Cod Adoption Center in Centerville.  Each month we will share with our readers, the  pets available for adoption along with other exciting news and events happening over at the MSPCA. Enjoy reading below about a few of the many adorable animals looking for their forever homes. This is of course just a small selection of who is available for adoption so if interested please visit the MSPCA website for additional details.

Rats

The MSPCA has several brown and white rats ranging in age from 4 months to 2 years, both male and female. They are all very friendly and used to being handled. If you are a rat lover then we can certainly find the right match for you!

Hello, my name is Martini. I am a 6 year old girl. I was brought to the adoption center because my owner developed allergies to me and could no longer keep me. I am a calm, friendly, outgoing girl looking for a loving home. I get along well with dogs but have never lived with other cats before. Could I be the girl for you?

Hello, my name is Chaser. I am a 5 year old beagle. I was brought into the adoption center when I was found outside and never claimed by my owner. I am a friendly, playful, outgoing man who would do best in a home without young children. Please stop by the adoption center for more information or to meet me!

Hello, my name is Stanley. I am a 6 year old gray tiger cat. I was brought into the adoption center because I wasn’t getting along with the other animals in the home. I am a friendly, independent man who would do best in a home where I would be the only pet. Please come into the shelter to meet me!

Hi, my name is Marshmallow. I am a 3 year old brown and white guinea pig. I was brought into the adoption center because my owner was moving and wasn’t able to bring me. I am very friendly and have lived with children and dogs. Won’t you take me home?

If unable to adopt a pet at this time but you would still like to get involved and help out, there are other ways to do so. You can volunteer; make a donation to the MSPCA Guardian Angel Fund or be a foster family for  a pet until they find a permanent home!
