Who is CCH

Hi there, my name is Sarah Rogalewski. I have been fortunate enough to have lived in a few different areas over the years. I was born in New Jersey, raised in Connecticut and landed on the Cape by way of Southern California! We have lived on Cape Cod for 12 years now starting out in Brewster, and currently residing in a great neighborhood in Falmouth. I have a 15 year old daughter and a very fluffy little Bichon Frise named Willie.

When I first met Tina and Angela from Happenings Media and was presented with the offer to start this venture I felt prepared, believing that my 12 years of living here would help guide me to offering the best sampling of what the Cape has to offer. I learned very quickly how many Cape Cod ‘treasures’ I had yet to unearth! I think that as is typical of most people, life ramps up, our kids lives get busy and we get caught in the whirlwind of our days not leaving much time to stop and explore what is going on around us.

Cape Cod’s diverse communities are rich with culture; history; the arts; amazing foods; wonderful local family-owned shops and businesses and amazing people. We want to tap into this great energy and offer up a unique vision of the areas in which we live, and where thousands choose to visit. One of the highlights of Cape Cod Happening is the events calendar, which is of course an ongoing list of year round community events occurring throughout the entire cape. There is an option for readers to submit events which we encourage you to do! We will change things up a bit month to month with contests; features that highlight local business and people; and our Cape Cod Happening Book Club.  We can’t forget about the amazing community service organizations that help support many here on the Cape, so we will also feature these from time to time for those who want to ‘give back’.
